1IUPAC will offer solutions when necessary to work out
disagreements over the naming of elements.
2 new names for elements will be selected by an independent
committee comprised of a pre-agreed list of honored scientists. 3 scientists involved in the discovery of elements will be unlikely
to receive direct credit as new elements will only be given a
number.
