The rights of animals
2018.09.05
It’s estimated that more than 40 kinds of animals are disappearing
each year. Why do so many animals go extinct ?
First, it’s because they have been captured by human for food
and other purposes. Buffaloes and mammoths went extinct for the
former reason.Minks were killed for fur. Second, deforestation
have deprived their habitats. In Japan, wolves went extinct because
of deforestation. Third, polluted water from houses and factories
have been killing animals. Fourthly, the species which human beings
brought from other places have killed the local animals. And lastly,
global warming have extinguished animals. In some areas of the
pacific ocean, coral died out for this reason.
As you might notice, in most cases human activities are related
to animals’extinction. And what will happen if animals continue
to die off? All animals live in food chain. Therefore the extinction of
animals will inevitably lead to food shortage.
We have no right to break the balance of nature and extinguish
animals. Therefore we human beings should give up greed and vanity
and be more thoughtful. We ought to keep in mind that all creatures
try hard to live in their own ways.
