わかりやすい英作文サンプル

英作文はわかりやすくとこれまで何度も強調しました。これからいくつか日
本人が書いたわかりやすく、まとまりのある文章(200語程度)を５つほど紹介し
ます。こういう文章を心がけて下さい。ノンネイティブにとってこれ位書ければ
十分なのです。
見ると簡単そうですが、自分で書くとなると英検１級レベルの人でもなかな
かこうは書けないものです（書ければ英検１級・トーイック・トフル・通訳ガイド
試験の英作文は満点）。「ネイティブの英作文」を目指すのはまったくのナン
センスです。
逆に考えればわかります。「日本人と同じレベルの英作文を書く」ことを目指
している外国人日本語学習者はいるのでしょうか？いないと思います。いて
も不可能です。例えば新聞や現代用語の基礎知識、小説に書かれているよ
うな日本語文を外国人が書くことは可能でしょうか？不可能でしょう。日本人
でもこれは容易なことではないのですから。
ですから、そういうできないことに目標を定めるのではなく、「日本人として、
ノンネイティブとして」十分な英作文を目指すべきなのです。その意味におい
て、これらのサンプルは「正しい目標」を示すものと確信しています。大いに
活用してください。

Man is the only creature who has sense of humor and can laugh.
This ability may have been developed in the process of evolution
to adjust relationships among men. To keep harmony humor must
have played an important role.
We sometimes see on TV the lives of some southern islands.
Their living standard may not be so high. However, they look very
happy. It’s possibly because they have good sense of humor and
laugh a lot.
Humor is also recommended from medical point of view.There
was a movie titled PATCH ADAMS. It described that there are
patients who can’t recover from illness by any state-of-the art medical
treatment. Adam s,the leading character, adopts humor to open
patients’hearts and treats them.
For long people have known from experiences that laugh is beneficial
for health. However,men somehow didn’t research what changes
occur when we laugh. Nowadays such researches are active. They
suggest laugh can strengthen human’s immune system and make us
strong against diseases.
Japan’s health insurance is annoyed by huge amount of deficits.
Therefore the government should recommend humor and laugh
to people,don’t you think?
